General Update!

This quarter has included Christmas eve and New Years Eve, of which there are many photos in digital format that lisa has promised to forward in due course (So you can pick them up when you next come)

Christmas Eve a phone call from Waynee in Germany informs us of a serious Acident with him and Christina in a car! ("call + texts cost me £13 quid" - Waynee) BUt otherwise pretty normal in Whitwell bar leaving the Oak after a quick pint as it was like any other night there, nothing speacial laid on, so we went back to the Holmefield where we all partuck in numerous Karaoke numbers on behalf on absent pals.

On New Years Eve other than our own group there seemed to be much less dressing up than usual, Sarah's Chesterfield friends came dressed up again and joined in the fun and Karaoke!

Dunk - Only Gay Rusian Mafia in the Village (True)
Jane - Posh Frock

We didnot even go to the oak.

As part of Lisa's 40 things to do before you're 41 we went to the Casino in Sheffield where we witnessed Adele CARPET BOMBING the Roulette Table, spending over £40 in 30 seconds and then wanting to go home. Lisa is currently organising, Skiing, Ice Skating, Flying lessons and toboganing.
Lisa has to go for a camera up her jacksy as she has an anal absess, she has requested the old fashioned concertina type lense - Dergaro style camera. (? Wayne)
Lisa wrote and asked the quiz at the Jackups, now only claire to get.
Lisa is again booked to go on holiday paid for by her parents, and the way she sees it she is doing them a massive favour by going.

Helen is pregnant.

Granville, Helen, Wayne and Christina had a thai Takaway evening at Gary and Sarah's

Cath H is still Working (and loving it!) she is even going out on regular work night outs.

The only advantage Ben has noticed from the extra cash generated is a chinese takeaway and War of the Worlds on Sky. Ben has crashed his car again, into a fence, he is currently regularly on call and earns twice as much for his pains, but can't drink while at the pub (if only his employers knew he was incapable of answering/fixing the problem calls anyway!)

Ade and Cath are still both ill, but there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel, Cath has been to Acupucture and a sports injury therapist, things seem to be slowly improving (Wish them well)
Ade is creating a battington website, but due to his higher than averagely hectic schedule this will not be up and running until mid 2009.

We had a games night at Dels where the boys comfortably stuffed the girls at the DVD format Who Wants to be a Millionare, Del put on a Lovely Spread and Cassie Shit on the Floor in the Excitement.
We have moved onto playing poker and quiz machine in the Oak, with Waynee and Mason being surprisingly good at bluffing a win with their betting techniques.

Mason's got a job, making Quiches with Granville. He Starts early March. This is lucky for the job Centre Staff as He has threatened violence against them due to the lack of respect they have shown him, He got his money stopped for missing a appointment due to him attending a job interview!
He has been upgraded from slight arse to mild tosser..lets hope this improvement continues.
Mason is currently creating a lsw website (louisesmalleywalk.co.uk)

Waynee is now the new capitalist pig in the village with over £1000 in the bank, no more debt and 1000 free photo-me shares for longevity of working for the company.
Christina has got a place on a teacher training course starting in september, but she has to pass a maths exam to be sure(eek) as we said earlier Waynee and Christina were in a car crash in Germany, where they were very lucky to get out without major injury. Christina however did crack her sternum and waynee bruised most things and is most upset at the compensation package. Christina is to get £2500 where as waynee despite his obvious agony and stress will only receive £3.20.
Waynee is getting a new company car and they are charging him £300 for the fag burn on the back seat ("Thankyou Chris"-waynee)
Waynee has had a lump removed from near his ear, and now he has no head.
Christina has had her hair cut short(shoulder length) to fit in with her new possy of lesbian friends at uni.

We have not seen spinner for over 6 months and Damian has been to prison for abducting Falicity.

Claire has hurt her neck. Andrea has been scuba diving in egypt. Everyone went to Thai resteraunt that claire and andreas friends opened in Worksop.
Everyone also went to the all you can eat Chinese meal at Chungs in Manton for an evening with Sarah.

sarah has 2.5 weeks to go to her due date, but she is showing slightly small and they may induce her early. ("She is very grumpy and totally off sex!!"-gaz)
Gaz has finally finished his garage

Little Jo was a rag doll and little Jamie a snow flake in Whitwell school's play.

Weight loss update;

del has lost 21lb
JP has lost 20lb
Gaz has lost 15lb
Grog has lost 30lb
Mason has lost 7lb
Sarah has put on 35lb
lisa has lost 0lb but there is a huge list of reasons why not.

We are still missing you both, especially over the festives, we had a good time on your behalf. waynee is going to put some photos on this blog to accompany the ramblings of each installment.

Only Simon has applied to do the walk this year, no-one else intends to(Apart from Mason obviously)
