update 12.11.05
Right, here we go, the second in the series of blog data stating what we are all up to in sunny whitwell
It has now been adjusted to quarterly as we are too boring/lazy to enable monthly instalments.
Firstly, as I'm sure you must have now heard sarah is now pregnant again. I'm sure somebody has had it in for me, and as Chris is twelve thousand miles away I must rethink my strategy of "which one of my mates would most likely want to shag my wife" she is 22 weeks gone and due on 16th March 06
Now the only reason this second entry was not actually the first entry is due to the monumentalness of a an impending second child for the spencer clan, in any other edition of this blog this next piece of news would come before even the preramblings
CATH HAS GOT A JOB (FUCK)
This is actually increased Bens worries and responsibilities and not reduced them as expected, now ben has the added worry of having to remember to take his bird to work. But even more stressfull is to remember to fetch her back.
Mr Mason has been particularly grumpy (except for the LSW evening, where he was cool , and drunk and dancing) He has now (a year late) been handed his notice at work and as such will understand his recent fall from pillar of "community" to "slight arse"
Lisa and Jo snook off for a Bingo night with the lovely Creswell ladies without letting the rest of us know they were going, even though it had been agreed that several of us were going to go (lesbians!)
Lisa is still up on her hours at work and she is now union rep for her and her staff and has toughly negotiated for better working rights for her and her brethren.
She has also since the last tiome of speaking carried out a few more of her fourty tasks, fencing (with a sword not concrete), archery, croquet and is going go karting with work.
Lisa and Dave have had a new baby boy, and have called him Noah, all is ok with Mother and Baby, after an initial dehydration problem.
Adi has got a New car: 1.8 Ford Focus Estate automatic, with speech activated on board medical dictionary.
Cath is still off work with torn discs.
Grog has bought a new house on Southfield Lane which he is now letting out!
Waynee and Christina have just got back from Germany where they were involved with Christina's grandads 80-th birthday celebrations - Waynee only mentioned the War twice (not bad for him - "and we won both times"- waynee) they have also visited Nottingham playhouse for the theatre presentations of "Cat on a hot tin roof" - quote "They were shouting" - Christina. Also "Burial at Thebes" - quote "A bag of laughs" - Waynee also "yakolt and tiball" -spelt wrong - quote "WOW chris and Julie would like that!" - Waynee
The LSW evening went very well, we were all bladdered and got conned into putting all the tables and chairs away at the end- Ben had to cunningly use a special tool to fold down the legs and Christ did he moan about it. Cath wore contact lenses in public for the first time- when she took them out later joe said "Mummy You're back"
Claire couldn't make the evening as she had hurriedly organised a trip away to anywhere(Scarborough had an empty room) This was coincidently coinciding with the news that Simon was coming up for the evening!!
We have stopped playing cards and backgammon on a Saturday night and we are now coming out of the doldrums. We have started playing pool again , much to the annoyance of two local blokes who always played each other every Saturday night for a couple of hours. We are also playing on the quiz machine and putting money into the juke box. Lisa(Landlady) is now warming to me slowly since I've stopped being excessively rude! And asking her to take all her clothes off-instead I've been saying, whilst rolling my eyes and nervously putting my cheek on my shoulder "You look lovely in that dress, is it new?" or " You're looking well, isn't steve lucky" I think she's missed such comment since Chris left.
Oh I nearly forgot, back in August we had the customary G and Gaz BBQ which was on the rainiest day ever. Sarah got a bollocking for attempting to cook things in the oven when we always have a BBQ. We had to set up a series of precarious plastic roofs on the washing line and got soaked cooking.
